XL Special Service Vehicle Body (SSV-Body)

The XL Special Services Vehicle Body (SSV-Body) was specially designed to suit Energex technician’s many and varied work requirements. Specifically designed to suit Toyota Hilux the body is now available for Holden Colorado Cab chassis, Toyota Landcruiser and Nissan D40 Single Cab, the bodies are strong yet considerably lightweight at 360kg excluding accessories.

The XL SSV-Body is a one piece, all steel body with a passenger side work area, a driver’s side storage area and handy enclosed central utility area and two small lower storage compartments. All six doors have optional central locking with unique key over-ride. Cabinets come standard with galvanized shelving and interior lighting.

The passenger side flip up door provides a handy shaded work area. XL's unique extending work bench provides a handy work area. Left hand shelving is designed to fit a toughbook computer.
Driver’s side doors open horizontally to cause minimal roadside intrusion. Shelves are adjustable in both cabinet areas. Front side shelves have been specifically designed to carry A4 folders and manuals. Rear shelves have been designed to fit Fischer storage boxes.
The central utility area has an optional roller bed fitted to allow for easy access of stored items.
