Happy New (Financial) Year!

Even though I’m pretty stuffed I must say what an exceptional year it was for XL. I’m very proud of what our team has accomplished in the past year and have every bit of confidence XL will continue to break new ground. Just some of this year’s accomplishments:

Record production – We have beaten the production record for each month, since November 2012. New production systems and monitoring – While consulting with Queensland Manufacturing Institute (QMI) we have changed our production line dramatically and introduced tablet based monitoring so that every service body or canopy ordered can be traced through every stage of production. Record Sales – Sales have been fantasticwith our loyal customers re-ordering and hundreds of new customers discovering the XL difference for the first time. Exporting Worldwide – During the year we sent our Service Bodies and Canopies all over the world; nine different nations to be precise including Mongolia which was a challenging mission but I enjoyed every minute of it! Salvagnini Launch – Finally in June we took delivery of the Salvagnini fully automated panel folding machine from Italy and celebrated with a ribbon cutting event which featured world renowned opera singer Judit V. Molnar performing live in our sheet metal building… she was amazing! You can view our video of the event by clicking on this image.

WOW – No wonder I’m STUFFED! A BIG THANK YOU – TO YOU!

To all our customers, supporters, technicians and trades people using XL Service Bodies and Canopies, our suppliers and last but not least our workers, I say thank you. We appreciate the loyalty and friendship we have received from you all. We are looking forward to another big year at XL with all the challenges and opportunities it brings and look forward to working with you over the next 12 months. Things we’re going to keep you informed on next month: Is the Toyota Hilux going 5 Star? Load Restraint Rules… not so straight forward, Why? Aluminium vs. Steel… the myths and truths revealed!

Cheers JP
